What's the parts v. labor breakdown?

Hatterasguy 03-05-2008 09:39 PM

That sounds about right, it includes everything right?

When I supplied the parts to the dealer last year it cost me $750 in labor for:

Rear springs, spring pads, shocks to be replaced.

And a front end alignment.

Took them 1 day.

They charge $95 an hour.

Seeing how you can buy a car like that for $2500-$3000. I wouldn't do that!

True, but with a mint suspension? It all depends on what you want/expect from the car. In my case, I have spent 3x what I paid for the car bringing things back up to par..... :dizzy2: But its worth it, because its extremely reliable, and now that I've fixed most everything, it hasn't needed much work in a long while....and will probably continue to be that way.

Either way, I've driven 62k over 4.5 years in a S-class MB with all its luxuries and safety, for about the price of a Kia Rio. :D And will continue to do so. :D

Not to mention, insurance and registration on this car is likely a lot less than it'd be for a new POS car!
