Lifting a W126 for underbody work

I have tried a couple of different methods, but an appropriate way to use a rolling hydraulic floor jack on the rear end still eludes me.

Last time I used it with a 2X6 under the differential ... I read this is not a good idea.

So, how do most of you do this?

I need to get all four wheels off the deck ... rotate ties, work on brakes, etc.

Thanks to everyone.
