Fuel Pump Relay Question-190E 2.3-16 V
Just started driving this car again after a long period of inactivity. Some time ago I had drivability problems and dealer said the FP relay needed replacement. He ordered one and "modified" the old one to function until replacement available. It came, but it appears I never had it installed. I looked at the relay today, and I see it is stamped with the word "KICKDOWN", so I know it is for the automatic. I have a 5 speed. The question:
Will this relay work in my car?? I know it has the extra function, but examination of the minimalist wiring diagrams in the manuals doesn't show anything different about the remaining relay pin assignments. Thanks for any help! That word means nothing. It is written on them all. Even my 1986 2.3-16v 5speed!
