suddenly all idiot lights are on
On my wife's 1995 e320 wagon.
Here's the story. Went out Saturday to start the car but it wouldn't start. I jumped it from our diesel van and it started but when I removed the battery cable, it died. We got it started and it took us to our destination. I bought a new battery and it started fine. Went out this morning, started fine but after about 2 miles, all the idiot lights came on except ASR...low fuel, battery, brake, everything lit up. I drove home and parked it. I'm thinking the voltage regulator. What do y'all think? Also, is the voltage regulator on the back of the alternator? Thanks, clint

I had the same scenerio happen to me. I replaced the voltage regulator and it seemed to be okay for a couple of days. When all the lights lit up again I pulled into an auto parts shop to have the battery and alternator checked. It turned out my alternator was toast.
From what I have read, it is usually the regulator and I was not so lucky.
