New 300te owner with some questions

Hi-
I've been lurking here for a bit, it's a great resource!

I am a VW enthusiast and I've bought this, my first non-vw, back in November-- it's a 90 300te. It used to belong to a forum member VR6freak (or something like that).

I've got a few questions that I couldn't find while searching;

1) Narrowed rear Control arms: My car is *very* low and I've got massive negative camber in the rear. It's torture on the tires. When you narrow the rear control arms, are you doing it from the outside by filling/ redrilling the spindle mounting holes or are you cutting/ rewelding the inner mount?

The rods that control the toe will be off-- is there a recommended amount to shorten them as well --- for example: "if you narrow the rear x amount, narrow the track rod X amount."

2) I've got a rear window regulator that keeps binding up in the *up* position. The only way I can fix it is by removing the door panel, reaching in to the backside of the regulator, easing the cover off and *poping* the cables loose. Then I'm able to lower the window and remove/ re-string the regulator. It's all lubed right and works great on the bench-- but locks up soon after. Any ideas?

I *really* dig this car. It's exactly what I have been looking for.

Thanks for any help!

A pic the PO took:

That TE looks pretty sweet lowered. Some day I'll do that to mine once I get my misfire figured out
Sorry just had to say that!

How many miles she got on her?

Goodluck with your endeavors!

You can lower the rear suspension simply by adjusting the control valve connector for the self-leveling rear suspension.

Yeah, it's lowered already and has way too much negative camber.

I really want to narrow the rear trailing arms to correct it, but it seems like everyone simply puts adjustable radius rods on the camber link instead. The problem with that is it's pushing the wheels out and fender/wheel clearance is already minimum...
