A few big problems??? 92 sel 600

Ok I have a couple of problems. Not sure if they are all tied together or if I'm hit with a bunch of seperate problems at once.

Hopefully the guys that normally chime in on my posts might have an idea.

Ok I replaced the main vaccum pump about 7 or 8 months ago. After my doors lost vacuum, my door locks wouldnt work through the key, and also the trunk wouldnt suction down ( reverse bars stuck up to)

Ok so a few days ago I started noticing the pump making the sound when you start the car up for about 20 secs, seemed a little longer then normal.

Anyways 2 days ago I went to unlock my car door. Normally I would put the key in the slot and turn it and all 4 doors locked or unlocked. But it wouldnt unlock but the green light turned on. I figured out I had to turn the key all the way down just to get the door unlocked manually. And this only unlocked the one door. So that was the first problem.

My next problem I noticed was that the trunk light was burnt out and the reverse bars were stuck up. SO I go to the fuse in the trunk, sure enough the fuse is blown. Im thinking ok cool thats the problem. I pop a brand new fuse in there bam it blows the fuse again within like 30 secs.

So Today I get in my car and turn the key over but not starting it like to just turn the stereo on. I hear this buzzing sound like the sound when you leave your headlight on when your keys are in the ignition. Very weird. But I noticed that when that buzzing sound would go on if I touched anything like the window button, or the stereo the buzzing woudl imidiately shut off. So I'm thinking a short?

So finally my question is could a short cause all these problems? Or am I in for bad news that my vaccum pump is out AGAIN??

Any ideas please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a bad PSE pump & weak battery.

I would try changing the battery as MB DOC suggested.

will70724, most MB radios will play without the key in the ignition ... simply press the power button. Normally there is a timer that will shutoff the radio after it plays for an hour so the battery doesn't run down accidentally.

Hmm, I will have to check but I'm almost positive my stereo wont play unless the key is turned to the 1st position.

It does sound like it might be a weak battery never thought about that. But all the lights and everything are pretty bright.

Also I just remembered I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but say i come to a complete stop. And when the light turned green I steped on the gas, and just floored it. I came to the next light did the same thing, once I slowed down my car was like really shaking, like running out of gas or something, just really idling rough. But if i continued to drive it normally, for a few mins it would go away. What can that possibly be? Is that tied to the pse pump or the battery?

will, check the condition of the voltage regulator brushes ... the voltage regulator attaches to the back of the alternator with 2 screws. If the voltage regulator has never been replaced the brushes are likely worn down so far that the battery will not recharge properly ... causing problems such as the engine stalling. Typically all the dash warning lights will illuminate just before the engine stalls.

I havent noticed any dash warning lights.

Just a lot of small problems that add up and might be tied to eachother.

Im trying to figure otu if one thing can be the cause for all these issues.

such as, hearing the buzzing noise when it shouldnt be coming on,
doors not locking with key ( well not all the doors)
seems like pse pump not working.
reverse bars wont go down.
and car kind of stalling after really getting on the car hard for 2 stop lights. then finally going away after driving for a minute or two.
