hopefully this weekend I will be tackling my leaking valve covers and oil pan gaskets on my 420sel. They seem to be straight forward and I have read that there are two nuts on two of the pan bolts that I need to watch out for. On the valve covers, one side has two fuel lines that run over it. Is there any precautions I need to take when I disconnect the fuel lines? Do I need any new seals or anything like that? Also I see that there is two oil pans that have gaskets. Is replacement of both of these very straight forward, or does half of the engine have to be removed to access them? I am trying to round up all supplies I will need, so I don't have to drive the ML all dirty and smelling like fuel and oil. I would be murdered by my signifigant other if I stained her car. If anyone has some input I would greatly appreciate it as well as my girlfriend.
Thanks.
