Replacing front brake pads on W210
Okay, I read the little article in the DIY section. I have removed the large clip, and removed the two 7mm allen head bolts from the back of the caliper. I also unplugged the little sensor. Now, my question is, how do I get the pads out? This may sound like a stupid question, but I just don't see it! I can get the caliper to wiggle a little, but that is it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to do this myself!! TIA

You need to push the piston back into the calipers alittle. I used a screwdriver (carefully). Then, the caliper & pads come off as one. BTW I found a great trick to push the piston all the way back into the caliper. I used 2 of those "Quick Grip-mini bar clamps" You know those 'one handed' clamps that you use to hold 2 pieces of wood together. You put one on opposite sides of the piston, and start gripping tighter. Took me 30 seconds to collapse them back in. And very easy! Finding a 7mm allen wrench was not
