				Oil pan gasket change

I have a 93 300E2.8. Do I have to lift the engine in order to change the oil pan gasket? Or can I simply lower the torsion bar (will that give me enough clearance) and remove the oil pan?

Don't know about that exact car, but my 1990 300E definitely required the engine to be raised a bit to get the oil pan off.

All of that, plus the drag link, not a real easy job. I'd want the job description - from the MB CD or perhaps AllData.

Should be the same as 90' 300E. Looks like to raise the engine is the only and adequate way to change the oil pan gasket. Thanks,
