What I meant is does that vent get shut off as well? I know it's not right to have cold air blasting at my feet.

The center vent was broken, it wouldn't close - I had to take it apart and manually close it, I'll have to try to track down a replacement vent from a wrecker...

It's vastly improved now with the center vent forced shut, however it does still blow cold air on my feet and the heat from the side vents seems 'diluted' now for lack of a better word.

So for clarity there should be no heat from the center vents, only from the outside vents. The center vent should be opened for fresh cool/cold air when desired. (no AC)

One step closer now, thanks!
