Going to NYC, few questions..[brakes,steering,etc]

hey everyone,

So Im takin the 190 up to the big apple in a week or two here and I have a few questions before I head off...I just had my lower ball joint (drivers side) replaced after a not-so-nice run in with some potholes. [FYI: driving a lowered 190 in my area in the winter...isnt a bright idea]

Anyway, a few weeks before that I had my master cylinder replaced, the brakes were getting kind of soggy and as I would drive the pedal would sink quite a bit before it actually did anything useful.

So new cylinder is in and everything is dandy. The brakes still dont feel the same as I remember then when I bought the car almost 2 years ago. They still don't have the same hardness and sensitivity as I remember. It kinda feels like it's losing vacuum when I brake. Certain times it'll be real solid and brake like I remember it. After a while though, it'll get soft and you'll have to take it down low to brake. Maybe it's just me, I'm not sure. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?

Around 45-60mph on the highway my steering wheel will jiggle left/right. My w126 does this too so I really don't know what to say/do about it. Do I need an alignment? The local shop wants $89 to do it. I really dont wanna take it only to find out i dont really need one.

I just put on new tires around xmas Falken Ziex912 on some E430 rims.

Sidenote:
I seem have a minor tranny-fluid leak. Minor in the way that it leaks maybe a quarter sized drop every now-and-again. Less now that i've been driving more...I'm told its the rear servo (B1) and pretty much the only way to replace the 11cent o-ring is to drop the transmission ($400+)

I'd appreciate some input on these questions, thanks guys. Been a while since i've posted.
