EGR Tube HELP!!! M112 W202
I am in need of some help. I took it opon myself to remove my EGR tube and clean it as I am getting the P0400 code. However I am currently unable to get the tube out. It seems when I rotate it the way in needs/feels to go the flange hits the throttle body flange. I have posted pictures below in hopes one of you has suggestions. I really would like to complete the project tomorrow so please help (Saturday).

You're just going to have to find another way to turn it- thats the only way it will come out. You're on the right track though, just keep at it.

Well I gave up on taking the EGR tube out. I turned it every which way possible and could not get it to come out. The flange would either hit the intake or the rubber piece where the vacuum tube mounts as see in the pictures. I could not figure out how to remove it so I soaked the inside of the tube with "Seafoam Deep Creep" and then blew it out with compressed air. Hope the gunk that came out does no harm. I believe I solved the trouble as my check engine light is now off.
In the future I may just have the local shop remove the tube for cleaning and replace the EGR if needed.
