2002, C230 transmission fluid
Hello,
I have a 2002 Mercedes C230,kompressor, 2 door hatchback. Accidently I run over a speed bump in a parking lot and puncture the transmission oil pan. I was fortunate to recover most of the fluid by placing a new oil pan under. Question is: If this fluid has stayed more then 24 hours in a pan, covered by a plastic bag will be OK to reuse it? I'm asking because it seems that it is a syntetic fluid and MB mentioned that the transmission fluid shouldn't be change at all. The car has 34kmiles on board. |

MB dropped that "lifetime" fill garbage about 4 years ago. USE new fluid & service the trans! Replace the filter as well.
