Mercedes clk 320 auto cuts out

Hi all, my 320 clk has started to cut out for no apparent reason as im driving, when it cuts out it will turn over but you cant hear the fuel pump and it wont start as if there's no fuel in it, when i have left it for about half an hour it will start and drive fine for a few miles or sometimes days, Sometimes before this happens it does strange things like open the boot, or the sunroof or turn the radio on. Also it sits on my drive and the alarm will set itself off hours after iv parked it there. Iv never had any problems with it in the past but i think this is making up for it now. Please help.
