How can i tell if my 97 E320 has 1 or 2 pin rear brake calipers???

 I dont get it but im upgrading the discs and pads and i need to specify how many pins are in my rear caliper. I thought it was the pins the that protrude through the back of the caliper that presumably go through to hold the pad in place and if thats the case there's two but i dont know.

Check your chassis# against the production break-point..

Its the VIN number on the dash board near windshield. Just pull a rear wheel off and you will see either 1 pin or 2 pins protruding from the caliper, they almost look like a thick dull pencil point.

Well Jeanus,
Those #s are seen on the dash thru the windshield...VIN...serial#.

If you can't find that, then take a wheel off and look......
