I do not have the special wrench to remove the vibration damper on the left strut on my 93 Cabriolet.

It's not coming loose off the shaft of the strut with a deep 22mm socket, and there is no room to get the box end 22mm wrench down in there and use a 7mm hex to hold the strut shaft.

Anybody have a trick to get this off?
