how to change fss

Hi Guys,
We did an oil change to my C230 Kompressor yesterday and was trying to follow the instruction from the manual on how to change the FSS after an oil change so that it goes back to 10000 miles. Unfortunately, it doesn't change. Can anybody help me?? Thanks
