Sorry, somehow my mind reverted to 1995/6 instead of writing 2005/6...

Most techs here refer to SBC as ***** Brake Control.

They also contest that SBC, the 1991-1993 3.5 liter diesel engine and the 2000-2004 G 400 CDI reliability issues as the three biggest fiascos ever produced by Mercedes-Benz.

Just for fun, I would also nominate the W140 A/C evaporators.

Volvo S80 / XC90's are suffering from the same malady.

Dug up this post searching for the 211 changes over the years,,, anyone know specifically what they were ? I picked up an 07 E350 wagon a couple of weeks ago and so far it is one magnificent machine. In terms of fuel mileage I got over 27 MPG on two tanks running at around 70 on the interstate, so I consider that pretty remarkable mileage for a big 4 matic wagon. The amenities are truly remarkable for me coming from a 95 124 wagon, and short ownership of a 2000 E320 wagon. No comparison between the 210 and 211.

If the wagons are the same as the sedans, then '07 is the first year without SBC.
