I really appreciate everyone's input.....I'm sorry about not mentioning my car's details.
1989 190E 2.6 92500mi Yes...Arthur...this is the same car. I got the freon recharged at a friend's shop and he did not do anything but freon. I didn't ask him about the wiring either. With all the advice, I'm worried this "fix" may not last since we really didn't address the problem. At this point I'd rather not try to fix something that isn't broke just yet, at least I hope not. I'll keep everyone informed if anything changes. Thanks again for your assistance! Mike |
