95 e320 Check Engine Light

Hello, My 1995 E320 wich has been running fine untill I washed the engine... I removed the water from the spark plug chanels etc so everything is dry... It has been driving just fine thill this morning the Check Engine Light came on at startup and did not go off... Is there any thing that I should check right off the bat??? Coolent seemed to be at a good level. I have not checked the other fluids....

If anyone has a suggestion I am all ears!

Thanks,

Hal

You should check the fault codes on the pushbutton of the 16 pin diagnostic connector near the battery. Turn the iginition on, warning lights on / car not running, hold the pushbutton down for 3 seconds, count the number of flashes that follows, repeat until first code comes up again, report back with results.

You don't see one b/c you are piggy-backing a post for a '95 E320. You don't have a '95 E320, so you do not have a button to push.
Which is why we asked the year/model on your other post in the first place.
