2001 E 320 - 4 matic
I have a problem with the cruise control automatically disengaging and the ABS, BAS/ESP warning lights coming on. Took to the shop and they replaced a multi-function switch located behind the gas pedal. Car worked fine for about 4 days then the symptom came back. Took back to shop 3 days ago and they are having difficulty identifying the underlying problem. It appears that when the engine is turned off, the computer reboots itself and the car runs fine for a while but eventually, at totally random intervals, the problem will come back. Any ideas as to the underlying problem? Thanks.

I didn't ask if they were new, BUT since you brought that UP...is that when the problem started?
Just because they are new doesn't mean that the circumferences are all with-in 1/4"
