560SEC Question

I'm looking at a 1991 560SEC that needs the rear glass, as the lamination is fogging-up on the lower left corner. Also there are a few cracks in the wood around the shifter.

Any ideas on an inexpensive repair/replacement of these two items?

Thanks,

couple of hundred bucks for good glass. This is a common problem. You might get lucky and find a parts car that has good glass and get luckier still that it can be removed without damage to the rear defrost, as it's powered with little more than a thin layer of copper cladding around the glass.

decent wood on the other hand is findable.
