And it ain't Mercon/Dextron III either

At least way back in the day when you changed it every 30k miles you could use the lower priced ATF.

How in the world do you fill it through the drain plug? What genius engineer came out with that arrangement? Do you have to turn the car upside down to fill it? Inquiring minds want to know.

It is a Dex 3 base fluid. Its the additive pack that makes it special.

MBDOC - I'd also like to know how you are supposed to refill it.
