Welcome to the 124 club, ... you'll like it here! Bring it over soon, ... in fact, I'll be running to Lansing in the morning.

I ran an AutoCheck on it, it was in Las Vegas up until this past June! It checks out as being good to go.... I will be the 6th owner! Current dude has only had it 5 months....I'm going to ask him how long "his daughter had it" just to see what he says. He claims she got it somewhere in Traverse City MI, which is unlikely....it came from Las Vegas to Grand Rapids according to the autocheck. Odometer is accurate, its only been driven about 5,500 miles in the past 3 years....its no wonder the clear coat is baked! Nevada Sun! Plus the no rust....I like that thats where it came from. On the bright side, the A/C has probably been taken care of!

pawoSD, if this 1990 300E baked in the Nevada sun for years it's likely all the rubber components are dried out and need replacing. Allow for that expense in the near future.

Hmm.....true, I will have to give it a good under the hood inspection prior to purchase. I think it is ok though, nothing seemed baked the last time I looked at it. Just the paint a little on the hood/trunk lid. One advantage is that it has 0 rust, and also.....I bet the A/C has been kept up....

I think I've read before that its fairly common for people to fly South on vacation and drive back a rust free car to sell in the land of salt.

We got it! I drove it home about 11 miles mostly highway, its awesome! It might need an alignment, and the tires are..."ok" but not awesome. Otherwise its great. 133k on it, so powerful! It goes 75 in silence!! With ease!

It idles a bit low, around 500-550....is that normal? If not...how do you raise it?
