Dash repair

I have been looking for a tread about dash repair and I believe it was on this site. It involved removing the dash, using (I believe) bondo or something similar, primer, truck bed liner spray and then vinyl spray. I have an old dash out of an 85 SEL that is cracked and would make a good test bed for this type of repair. Does anyone remember anything about this? I have searched this site and google and find a lot about the subject but not the one I think I remember.

Thanks for the reply whunter. I have read these threads but couldn't find the one I was thinking about. I think I will take all of these and come up with a plan and see what happens. If I come up with something that works (probably not) I will let everyone know.
Thanks again.
Hope you had a great Turkey Day.
