Hi folks,

I have an 84 280S with M110 and a 4 speed manual transmission.

Has there ever been a 5 speed option for the M110 in a W126 body. I believe so but does this use a specific driveshaft ?

Yes, shows trans type 717.402. & yes the shift linkage and the drive shaft were different.
