Heated seats stop working

What are the chances of both heated seat bottoms going out at the same time? I have read that this is common on the 210 cars. Seams strange to me that both would stop working at the same time. My indy says the fix would be $500 per side as elements are sewn into the leather seat covers and that doesn't include labor. Ouch! I will check fuses / connections tomorrow. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Both at the exact same time? I'm guessing about 1,000,000 to 1. I would assume that like most cars, the driver's seat gets used more than the other seats. I would think that one should die first. I would change the fuse even if it looks OK.
