http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?threadid=20830&highlight=boot Also, JC Whitney (800-529-4486) has a tool called "UNI-FIT CV Boot Installation Kit", item # 47NS3413X, for $99.95. It will let you install the boot without cutting the metal can. I do not know how well it work. The tool may be okay for DIY. But if I have to change the boot for a customer, I will send the axle out for rebuilt. I want to do it right the first time and do not want any rework. David |
