1985 500 SEL no fuel from distributor

OK, I now have spark, timed to zero since it will not run, but when I pull an injector to see if I have fuel, all I get is one shot from the injector, a slight burp, no more fuel after that.

Suggestions?

Also, what does the frequency regulator do, and how does it do it?

did you push down the air/throttle plate w/ the fuel pump jumpered?

Have you checked pressures @ the upper and lower chambers?
