Hi Everyone,

We've just noticed a very strong smell coming from the underside of the 2000 E320 Wagon - it smells like when you solder plumbing - that smell of ozone. I coudn't smell it in the tailpipe, but could smell it on the sides of the car. Any ideas?

Check to see if there's a plastic bag stuck to the exhaust system. Happens all the time.

Or leave it alone...and do your part in the "green" effort by replenishing the ozone in the environment!

This makes a lot of sense. She drove the car to work this morning, some 30 miles, and there was no odd smell when she got there. I hope it was as easy as that.
