Ignition wire with low resistance
4 of my beru plugs measured out around 1.2k ohms +- 5% but two of them were 0.9 k ohms. What would be the implications with a wire with low resistance on the engine?
Just curious...I intend to buy a new set of wires.

It's not the wire that has the resistance it's the plug ends.
If they are Beru then the resistance tolerance specs should be written on them - 1 Kohm. I would be more concerned if they were very dirty, appeared to be shorting out, wires hard and cracked. This would normally be representative of old leads. There is resistance in the distributor cap as well. Do you have misfire problem? However having said all that, - the best tuneup for a M103, is plugs, leads, dissie cap and rotor. Plugs non resistive, NGK's or if you can still find them non resistive Bosch. |

No...just kinda going through things on this 260E in general. The boots have cracks in them and I would surmise these are the 1st set...or at the very most 2nd. So they need a tuneup.
I have the non resistor HD9C0 Bosch plugs in right now.
