Total powerloss @ 5000rpm

Hello,

I have a 90' 300CE with Turbo Technics kit installed recently. The EZL ignition remained untouched, but the car will not rev past 5000rpm, and it loses all its power at this point. I have checked the fuel delivery with my wideband lambda, and the air/fuel ratio is very good @ 5k (11.5:1). Despite this there is absolutely no power over 5000rpm. Any suggestions?

Does it cut out at 5000 rpm or just a loss of power?
Loss of power could be your coil, or if you have the TT Hobbs switches installed they may be retarding the timing too much.

If it is cutting out then check your fuel pump relay / MAS as it acts as a rev limiter by shutting down the fuel pumps.
