Help! Wipers Are Not Wiping!
1985 500SEL I can here the motor operating but the wipers are not moving. Is there a gear or a belt that needs replaced?

The W126 chassis has a w/s wiper GEARING assembly, make sure that the drive rod is secured to the linkage. All of this is below the plastic air intake under the hood.

Thanks! Does this also make the wipers automatically retract when you turn them off? That stopped long before this.
