Where to put webasto timer??
Hello
I have just got me a 300D from 1989 Now I want to install a webasto coolant heater that I already got from my old car. Can anyone tell me some hint about the installation, especially where on the dashboard to put the timer. I`ve seen a picture off the same timer in the MB owner`s manual so I expect that there is a special place prepared for this timer. Thanks in advance. Claus Nejmann, Denmark cnejmann@post6.tele.dk |

I am not familiar with this installation on the W124 series but on my 190E 2.3-16, and one of the W123 230E models I imported the aux. heater control box was installed on the tray under the center arm rest. It gets hit by random hand motion or while stowing things, but the new cars have a cover over that area which would make that problem go away.
Good luck, Jim
