WOW! I fixed my AAV!

I was gettind desperate and sick of my 1800 idle speed regardless of engine temp. I had given the AAV a smack with a mallet a while back, to no avail, so in my desparation, I thought, 'Maybe I didn't hit it HARD enough?'

Well, I was right. I had read earlier this week about how the Jag guys are repairing or bypassing their AAV's. I saw an article on how to disassemble one. They're pressed together. SO I lined up a ballpien on top of the AAV, held squarely and gave the ball a good smack with another hammer and I saw the center assembly, or cartridge move down. Remembering the dissassembly mentioned it was pressed together. I scramble to the ignition and turn the key, and I'm greeted with a very nice slow 550RPM warm (not hot) idle
