201 (190E 2.3-16) Stalls at Idle. Fuel Pump Relay?

My 1986 201 stalls at idle. It will fire up fine. If you keep a little pressure on the throttle, it will drive fine. In fact, it will drive fine at speed on the highway. However, as soon as you lift from the throttle -- at stop lights or at any stop -- it immediately cuts out.

Replaced OPC. Crankshaft Position Sensor appears in good shape. Fuel pump appears in sound order.

Does this sound like a faulty Fuel Pump Relay?

Thanks for any and all assistance.

on stalls the fuel pump relay is usually the bad part with cold solder joints inside.

If the air flow plate ,bore and the bottom of the throttle plate area has been thoroughky cleaned then the the ICV maybe requiring the same cleaning .
this will eliminate the other causes .
