Idle Control Valve Hoses
hey everyone;
Yesterday I tried to clean out the idle control valve on my 1991 300E and had gotten to the part but could not disconnect the 2 hoses going to it. Didn't want to force the issue and cause damage so I reassembled everything and figured I'd ask someone. Any tips on how to easily slide these hoses off the ICV? Nick |

Best on a warm engine ...
I recall that they bend and slide off very easily and, of course, they are more flexible on a warm engine or when the car has been out in the sun for a while.

When they are old and hard like that just chip them off and then replace them.
