TheDon 07-30-2009 10:22 PM

what the heck?

babymog 07-30-2009 10:46 PM

In stark contrast to cliffmac, Arthur's answers are well thought out, accurate, and usually stated in a gentlemanly fashion.

I'm very thankful for Arthur's contributions here.

spinedoc2304 07-31-2009 03:53 PM

Both Arthur's and M.B. Doc's answers to questions have kept my 1991 300E humming along and have saved me thousands of dollars!
Thanks to both you gentlemen!

Nick

BACKFIRE?!

Somehow, the context of the first thread leads me to believe that this wasn't going to end up a member appreciation thread. A.D. has been helping me quite a bit lately, to which I am VERY appreciative. Thanks, dude!

Avarec 07-31-2009 04:09 PM

yeah i agree no reason to dirt anyone up
Esp Art.
He knows what hes talking about and is great help,
If anyone hold grudge on each other just meet up and go one on one, smash each other up and part youre ways ;)

Seconded. I don't understand how they have the time or patience to help so many of us, but I'm very thankful they do. Arthur Dalton and MB Doc have saved me all kinds of money over the years, between searching their archived posts and asking direct questions when I can't find my answers.

Thanks for doing what you do.

GaryF 07-31-2009 05:04 PM

No Dolton here, but Dalton gets my vote too !

tinypanzer 07-31-2009 05:14 PM

The difference is when I argue with Arthur Dalton, I feel as though I've learned something afterwards.

EricSilver 07-31-2009 05:32 PM

I don't recall the thread, but I think Arthur scolded Cliffmac -- and Cliff now seems to want to make amends, in an online sort of way. :)

First post sounded like an interrogation to me!

Reread the post, but do so with a heavy German accent...

appatula 08-01-2009 08:24 AM

Achtung!! :P

I'll add my vote to the Dalton and Doc list. They are both perhaps living, breathing, Mercedes tech dictionaries? Cliff is also knowledgeable, no need for grudges here. We are all here to learn....and beat each other up with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism :D.

Are you serious? Why don't you perform a search using his name and then you will know. He is one of the more helpful and patient folks on here.

So you have been here for 10 months and you are calling people out, please.

cliffmac 08-02-2009 10:47 PM

OK, let's just forget about this whole thing then...Soprano style...I am willing to move forward personally in the interest of nice running Mercedes for all...Salude!

The easiest way to kill a thread is for the person who started it to delete it. ;)

LUVMBDiesels 08-03-2009 08:39 AM

Arthur Dalton has my vote too... He has helped me many times.

Kudos to all the kind people keeping my loosely associated bunch of West German parts functioning as a motorcar!
