In stark contrast to cliffmac, Arthur's answers are well thought out, accurate, and usually stated in a gentlemanly fashion.

I'm very thankful for Arthur's contributions here.

Both Arthur's and M.B. Doc's answers to questions have kept my 1991 300E humming along and have saved me thousands of dollars!
Thanks to both you gentlemen!

BACKFIRE?!

Somehow, the context of the first thread leads me to believe that this wasn't going to end up a member appreciation thread. A.D. has been helping me quite a bit lately, to which I am VERY appreciative. Thanks, dude!

Seconded. I don't understand how they have the time or patience to help so many of us, but I'm very thankful they do. Arthur Dalton and MB Doc have saved me all kinds of money over the years, between searching their archived posts and asking direct questions when I can't find my answers.

Thanks for doing what you do.

The difference is when I argue with Arthur Dalton, I feel as though I've learned something afterwards.

I don't recall the thread, but I think Arthur scolded Cliffmac -- and Cliff now seems to want to make amends, in an online sort of way.

First post sounded like an interrogation to me!

Reread the post, but do so with a heavy German accent...

Achtung!!

I'll add my vote to the Dalton and Doc list. They are both perhaps living, breathing, Mercedes tech dictionaries? Cliff is also knowledgeable, no need for grudges here. We are all here to learn....and beat each other up with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism .
