722 Transmission pan Torque Spec

Anybody know what it is? I have been having a issue with a leaking pan on the 560SL. I just got a new pan and gasket from the dealer and want to torque it correctly, rather than "that feels about right" like I did last time.

Also what is the purpose of the bracket that bolts half way over the transmission pan? Skid plate? Stiffener? Will it do any harm to drive it around for a few days without this so I can be sure my leak is gone?

Thanks

I believe its 6 nm.

The brace is a stiffener on the convertibles.

Thanks. I set them to 6. I'll fill her up again tomorrow and cross my fingers.
