2005 seat sensor

Fellow M-B enthusiasts-I am a new forum member with a 2005 cdi with 82000 miles and the car is great. While under warranty, I took the car to the dealer to fix the Ultra sensative passenger seat sensor. They said they fixed it and it was very sensative but was supposed to be that way. I believed them. A book or less will cause the irritating chime and when I travel by myself, I put maps, ect. on the seat. I must engage the seat belt. This irritates me for some reason. Sometimes it will go off with less than the weight of a book. Could someone tell me which plug under the seat can be disconnected to cancel the chime without disturbing any other electronics? thanks. Steve

Surmising that disconnecting is going to set a Circut malfunction code in the SRS system.

Might want to speak to MB about disabling the sensor via SDS laptop. May be a liability release involved.....

go see Joey C. @ MB of Tampa
he's salesman of the month 99.9% of the time,

he's been able to get some "warranty" type stuff done for us on numerous cars, including my parents '05 CDI outside of warranty...

unless you deal with Lokey.... lets say, I've had a bad experience or two, between sales and service.
(we have a condo on sand key, hence why I know so much, with a location that says "Beavercreek, Ohio) LOL
