My 83 300SD keeps blowing the # 15 fuse. Trying to find out exactly where it is but.....

ooof!!
electrical issues are the worst.
the only way i know to diagnose them is to crack out that multimeter and test whatever that fuse controls. there are some pretty smart people on this forum that might actually know exactly what the problem is. i hope one of them finds you! good luck sir! |

I always divide & conquer, on the bottom of the fuse you will find many wires attached to that fuse. Disconnect 1 at a time until the fuse stops blowing.
You may need to cut & re-splice those wires at that screw.

Short shorts......
I would first disconnect the power antenna. We have seen many an antenna motor overload the fuse while tring to retact the antenna after the operator walks away from the vehicle after shutting it off
