560sl cooling

Recently, I changed coolant. After completing the job I had a few things occur. At idle after the engine has been at temp the coolant temperature rises. When driving it stays right around 80 but rises when I am sittting still at idle to about 100. ALso noticed a leak at both ends of radiator on the side tanks. I can hardly believe that the radiator just went bad as I changed the coolant. ANy ideas? Thanks. Rob Thomas
