Headgasket Set: Question about some items
I am in the middle of changing the head gasket for a 1993 300e 2.8. this has the m104 engine. I got the Erling headgasket set, and i have some washers that don't seem to go anywhere on the head and engine...
let me know what you guys think I think the triangular washer goes onto the head where the pipe coming from the smog pump attaches to the head, the only problem is that it is different that what is cuurenlty on that pipe which is merely a green rubber seal? did they update the specs on this? the other 4 washers, i have no clue where they go.... any ideas? thanks, |

Many times the gasket kit is for more than one application & they include seals & gaskets that may not apply to your car.
No worries.

Look like gaskets for misc sensors such as water temp, air intake temp etc; not every engine as MB Doc says will need every gasket.
