500E front swaybar bushings
I'd like to change to new OEM rubber bushings on the car which has 130,000 now. It looks straight forward enough to remove the bar but my question is do the old ones just slide off or do I need some sort of lube like hairspray to wiggle the little buggers off and put the new ones on or will they just slide on nicey-nice like one would expect?

Jim,
It seems you already know what to do. There should be no problem removing the bushings. I used silicone spray because my wife would get pissed if I used up her hairspray. Jeff |
