Smile Need rotor specs for 2000 E320

Hello,

I'm new to this forum. I'd be grateful if someone could provide both new and minimum (thickness) for front and rear rotors. I have model 210.065, 2000 E320.

Also, your recommendations for the best place to purchase, and favorable brands would be appreciated. I don't have the money to pay for the very best right now, but would like to put good pads and rotors on. So, best value for the dollar. I've heard Zimmerman rotors with Akebono's are a good set up. I have single pin in the rear. Thank you in advance for your help!

Brent

Your specs are imprinted on the hub of the rotor. Something like 25.4 for the front iirc.

Front rotors (210-421-22-12) on THAT car have a 25.4mm minimun & would be 28mm thick when new.

Rears (210-423-06-12) have a 8.3mm minimun & are 10mm new.

Thank you gentleman. I appreciate the information. Hey M.B. Doc, the numbers you have listed after front and rear rotors, are they the actual part numbers needed for my vehicle. Please pardon my ignorance.

I'm not a mechanic but have been doing many DIY's out of necessity. I actually enjoy it, but still have a lot to learn! Thanks again.

Any opinions on rotor and pad set up?

Brent

Unless you buy OE from dealer?? Use Zimmermann rotors & Textar pads (ceramic)
