w124 electrical gremlins no power windows , sunroof or blower

I just picked up a 1992 300te 4matic wagon.

none of the power windows work. I hear the relays clicking in the comfort module, but the motors do not move. all fuses have been replaced with new ones. I opened up the comfort module, and all the relays look like they work as they should. is there a bad ground or short or something? could all 4 motors be seized? I have not yet taken the panels off the doors to check.

The blower motor does not seem to work either. I saw a small 2 position fuse holder near the main fuse box which I assumed was for the blower. it had no fuses. when I added fuses, still nothing. is there a way to check the motor short of doing a full teardown? is the regulator accessible?

I also can't get the auto locks to work from the driver's door. they work from the tailgate and passenger doors though. that sounds like a wiring issue inside the door.

thanks!

Follow up: I did a test on the driver's side door. The motor works fine with voltage applied directly. Inside the door was a bit wet for some reason, and some wires at the bottom were looking pretty corroded. are those the central locking control wires?

voltmeter tests at the terminals show nothing, no voltage going to those terminals. All I can think of is it's either the wiring ( but in all 4 doors at the same time?) or the relay unit... anyone else have any ideas?

thanks!

The window wires tend to get brittle and break. Remove the B pillar and door panels then cut out the damaged wire and solder in some (IIRC) 14g wire, heat shrink it and voila, back in business. The blower may be your strip fuse. Sunroof? Mine hasn't broken yet.

Thanks for the feedback. I just tested continuity on the wires coming from the comfort module to the motor. all looks well. continuity for the 12v input feed looks good too as well as ground, and I have 12v coming in. I'm guessing it's the comfort module. are these known for going bad? any idea how much these cost?
