The transmission light has been on in my 2.6 190e for about a month, transmission fluid level has been to spec, I changed out the fluid and filter, the light is still on, the fluid is still spec. What is this light pointing me towards, the vacuum system? modulator of the tranny? I used the search engine but found little on the transmission idiot light.. Any suggestions?

Are you sure the light is for the transmission? I've never heard of any transmission light on the 190E models. What picture/lettering is on the light?

I too have never heard of a transmission light. Where is it located in the instrument cluster and what does it look like?
