Can the outside temperature gauge be adjusted?

I replaced the instrument cluster on my 88 190e with one from an 87 190e. Everything works, but the outside ambient temperature gauge reads low (about 20 degrees low). The gauge on the old unit read correctly so I think it must be that vs. the outside probe. Can these be adjusted? Or, should I try to swap the gauges between the clusters?

Thanks,
Todd
