VIN

Hanno is right. 116033 is a 4.5. 6.9 is 116036. Too bad but I'd buy it just for the chassis. Swap my 6.9-specific parts over to get rid of the rust. Might be a job but rust is the death knell ---especially in my part of the country.

The $600.00 doesn't go far when the rust has come to visit.

I sent the place an e-mail last night. Maybe he changed the listing, maybe not.

It's a parts car no matter what.

I sent thefollowing message to them:

Just an FYI:

The vehicle is just a standard 450SEL 4.5, not a 6.9.

A 6.9 has the self leveling suspension, with a push pull knob on the dash above the steering wheel. The 6.9 also has upgraded “burl” woodwork. Lastly, the 6.9 has different bumpers, and most have rear headrests.

Yep, pretty much what I previously said in an earlier post.

At any rate, it seemed to work, they changed their ad. Have to respect them for that!
